Fuerza Regia - Guaros 77-70 OT
Fuerza Regia celebrated the third straight win in Group E. They held off Guaros in overtime to clinch the top place. Jeleel Akindele (216-C-83, college: Chicago St., agency: BeoBasket) delivered 19 points, 14 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Fuerza Regia claimed a 25:23 halftime advantage. They extended the margin at 5-point mark heading into the fourth frame. But Guaros erased the deficit and forced overtime. However Fuerza Regia dropped 16 points in the extra period to secure the win. Andy Panko (203-F-77, college: Lebanon Valley, agency: BeoBasket) connected for 16 points for the Mexican side. Lazar Hayward (225-SF-86, college: Marquette) responded with 18 points and 10 boards for Guaros.

Soles - La Union 76-77
La Union claimed the opening victory in Liga Americas Group E. They nipped Soles to finish at 1-2 record. Facundo Pinero (200-F-88) delivered 19 points to pace the winners. Soles enjoyed a 40:37 halftime lead. The Mexican team boosted the gap at 10-point mark at the final intermission. But La Union used a 22:11 surge in the fourth frame to snatch the victory. Jose Vargas (195-G/F-82, agency: Pro Sports) provided 11 points in the win. Justin Keenan (202-F/C-88, college: Ferris St.) responded with 21 points and 7 rebounds for Soles.
